NOMOS occupies a special place in the German watch pantheon. The Glashütte subsidiary offers twelve families of simple, elegant, beautifully-crafted timepieces in the $4k to $5k range, all sharing the same Bahausian DNA. As NOMOS’ latest email reveals, choosing one is about to get harder, especially for collectors . . .

They’ve been around the world, attended trade fairs, been reviewed by critics, and had their beauty captured during photoshoots: watches from our PR and display collections.* Some of these pieces are now available to purchase from our online store—with a new one appearing each day in September.

Limited editions, special releases, and some models that have not been listed in any catalog for a very long time—genuine NOMOS rare finds, in other words.

What can you expect? Models from the 1st edition neomatik series, for example; the limited first-run was only available for short time—and were the first to feature our in-house sensation, the NOMOS caliber DUW 3001.

And if the words “form follows function” get you hot under the shirt cuff then you’ll appreciate the (few) remaining special edition Tangente—A Century of Bauhaus models, which will also appear over the course of the month.

“Hot under the shirt cuff.” Those crazy Germans and their command of English idioms! As I said, though, NOMOS is in full command of their watchmaking chops. Review of the Club Atlantique to follow.
