There I was, looking for a couple of 64-ounce bottles of Kirkland brand avocado mayonnaise, when I spotted this bejeweled beauty in Costco’s jewelry section. Imagine my surprise to find a $10k anything at the China Off-Shore Trading Company. I was even more shocked when I searched the price of a diamond-ringed Ladies Planet Ocean on Omega’s website. To channel my inner Bob Barker, the actual retail price is . . .
That can’t be right, can it? As far as I can tell, that’s the same watch as the one I found at Costco. Here’s the image from Omega:
If this is right, you’ve got to ask yourself: why hasn’t a bargain-hunting Costco member Ocean’s 11’d this thing? I mean, bought it? Someone might say because the watch isn’t all that and a bag of chips, but I couldn’t possibly comment.
